  • What is a DBE, is it the same thing as an ACDBE?

    • A DBE is a for-profit small business owned and controlled by individuals that are both socially and economically disadvantaged (CFR 49, Part 26) while an ACDBE is a for-profit concession owned and controlled by individuals that are both socially and economically disadvantaged (CFR 49, Part 23)

      • An Airport Concession is a business located on an airport that is engaged in the sale of consumer goods or services to the public under an agreement with an airport, another concessionaire, or the owner or lessee of a terminal.   • Do I have to be a DBE/ACDBE to work with the Airport Authority?

    Depending on the requirements of certain solicitations, it is highly encouraged.

  • Does the Airport Authority certify DBEs/ACDBEs?

    No, but the Airport Authority acknowledges and accepts DBE/ACDBE Certification from different agencies.  Click Here for Certification information.
