Veteran-Owned Business (VOB) Certification

The Airport Authority acknowledges and certifies Veteran-Owned Businesses.

What can I do to qualify?

To begin, you must be able to provide Proof of Service for at least 180 days with an honorable discharge, and proof that you’ve been in business for at least one (1) year.

Why Should My Company Be Veteran Owned Business (VOB) Certified?

The VOB Certification program can give your company a competitive edge with certain Airport Authority Contracts. As a VOB Certified Supplier, when bidding on Airport Authority solicitations, equalization credits are applied accordingly.

Once your company is certified with the Airport Authority, you are added to the WCAA list of Veteran Owned Businesses within your commodity/product code. Additionally, being certified entitles the vendor to an array of ancillary services.

Being proactive and becoming certified in any of certifications with the Airport Authority can place you a step ahead of the competition in the procurement process. Being certified helps your company be prepared when opportunities arise.
